An other attempt at making a wind noise, by layering different noises and fading between them. This one sounds like there's a helicopter in the background.
I was playing around with spear (sinusoidal partial editing and resynthesis) after a long absence (still available for free download)and came up with some drones for the upcoming pincushioned album. "enjoy".
This is clip of four different xlr-cables recording empty track to check the cables noise floor. The original recording was boosted to -6 db with audacity.
Collection of inharmonic noise samples. Created and processed with a variety of reverbation, granular and spectral techniques. Useful to layer in a pad, make risers or drums. Will continue to add to this pack.
